PRINT BLURRED LINES NOT SHARP
Causes and solutions for blurred prints, lines and texts.
Causes of Tampon
The pad may be too soft. In this case, a harder buffer should be used.
The shape of the bumper may be wrong. In this case, different shaped bumpers should be tried.
Causes of Cliché
Incorrect raster may have been used in the cliché. In this case, the cliché should be tried again by applying a different raster.
If the cliché is too deep, printing should be tried again with a new cliché with less depth.
If the wrong type of cliché is used, a suitable type of cliché should be used, for example, a steel cliché should be tried instead of polymer.
Causes of Ink
The ink may be too thick. In this case, the printing should be tried again by adding some more thinner.
If the ink is too thin, the amount of thinner should be reduced and the printing should be tried again.
In case the ink dries slowly, it should be tried by using a faster drying thinner or by reducing the printing speed.
Material-Related Causes
The material surface may be dirty. In this case, the material must be pre-cleaned.
The material surface can be rough or chipped. In this case, another type of material should be used. If not, a harder pad can be used.
The material surface may be uneven. In this case, a specially shaped bumper and buffer connection should be used.
In case of pressure too close to the material edge, the device should be prepared in such a way as to prevent the pad from slipping.
Other Reasons
The printing elements may not be stable enough. High speeds cause the bumper to vibrate. The speed should be reduced. For this, a new mechanism has to be created. If necessary, it should be stopped for a while during printing before touching the material in order to prevent the pad from vibrating.
